The 4-day Surfana Festival had 3500 visitors that produced 2,2 tons of waste. We diverted 97% of that waste from incineration and made sure it got recycled, cigarette butts for example were turned into plastic pallets for 3D printing. The majority was glass, we produced 310 KG of compost with our composting machine and only 65 kg of (rest) waste for incineration due to their complexity.
